Pay a Friend with Payactiv

When you and a friend apply for the Payactiv Visa Card, you can1 send money back and forth through the Payactiv app2. Here’s how to do it:

Add funds to your Payactiv Visa Card in the Payactiv app.

Tap to pay

Tap the blue dollar sign and tap “Pay” and add a friend.

Send fund

Send money to your friend, and do a little happy dance!

To use Pay a Friend, you and your friend will need a Payactiv Visa Card. Load funds to the card (sign up for Direct Deposit for the best experience) and tap the blue dollar sign in the app. Tap “Pay” and select your friend from your phone contacts. Then select the dollar amount you want to send, and pay your friend! Transfers to friends happen in real-time.

You can only send money to someone who has a Payactiv card with Pay a Friend.

Payments between Payactiv friends happen in real-time. Check to make sure your friend sent funds to their Payactiv Visa Card firs. If you still haven’t received a payment from a friend in 1 business day, give us a call at (877) 937-6966.

The Payactiv Visa Card is a general-purpose reloadable prepaid card that can be used for purchases everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. You can only spend the money that you load on the card. It is not a credit card and applying for it and using it does not affect your credit score.
