Payactiv gives your employees access to the money they’ve worked for but haven’t been paid yet. The amount that is accessed is then accounted for in their next paycheck, giving them the flexibility to pay for things on their own schedule.

Payactiv fronts the funds that employees request. There is no impact to the employer’s cash flow.

Payactiv recoups the funds we front by deducting the funds from the employee’s paycheck. We work with your payroll provider to send the amount the employee accessed that pay period to be applied as a deduction on the check date.

This deduction is applied after all other deductions are taken. Payactiv will confirm the deduction amount for employees and debit your account for the amount withheld on the check date. 

Payactiv receives a daily list of ‘Active’ employees from your payroll provider. If an employee falls off this list we will automatically remove their ability to access wages.

If you issue a final paycheck to the employee before the regularly scheduled check date, we ask that you check your admin portal and deduct any outstanding amount from their final pay.

No, the employer is not responsible for amounts we cannot collect in the standard operation of the program.
